SHIVA children: Nepal trip to Chitwan

Our trip to Chitwan 2003 went very well, apart from the weather. It was gloomy and overcast, and it rained. Anyhow, we enjoyed the trip very much. Altogether there were 28 students and the teachers, and none of the children had been to Chitwan before.

The elephant ride was great fun, and we managed to see some wild rhinos and some other jungle animals.

At the lodge they had some baby rhinos, and we were allowed to stroke them.

The nature guide was very good, and very informative. He spoke to us about the Chitwan and the animals, and we asked

questions. Thanks to SHIVA Charity (UK) sponsors for a wonderful trip!
